Prepare
Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison are strong options.

- Leader party levels: about 38–40
- Approx cap while this fight is next: ~45 — Level cap
- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Flower Forest tip — pretty biome, still claim a rest stop.
Craft the map
- Search Erika in REI and craft Nature Fan.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Nature Fan in the Kanto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Status (sleep/powder) can stall. Bring cleansers and don’t underlevel into her ceiling.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Clear gym trainers if you need XP or CobbleDollars.
- Heal, then challenge Erika.
- Win → level cap rises → next: Koga.
