- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Fourth Elite room — late Johto wall.
Craft the map
- Search Karen in REI and craft Razor Claw.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Razor Claw in the Johto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Weavile / Houndoom speed. Don’t rely on a single Psychic into Dark.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Elite Four / Champion: full heal between rooms.
- Heal, then challenge Karen.
