- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Swamp tip — boots, food, and a waystone on the path.
Craft the map
- Search Koga in REI and craft Ninja Poison.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Ninja Poison in the Kanto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Poison / bad poison chip. Stock Antidotes / Pecha and don’t AFK mid-fight.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Clear gym trainers if you need XP or CobbleDollars.
- Heal, then challenge Koga.
