Unlock Sinnoh first

1. Beat Hoenn Champion Rocco.
2. Follow the champion book: Trainer Association → Sinnoh Trainer Card (your level cap resets for Sinnoh).
3. Craft the Sinnoh Cartography Table — see Gym maps.

Prepare

Water, Grass, Fighting, and Ground answer Rock. Fire-resist gear helps near the vents on the way in.

Craft the map

1. Search Pedro in REI and craft Rock Casque.
2. Craft a fresh Empty Map.
3. Combine Empty Map + Rock Casque in the Sinnoh Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
4. Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.

Standard Rock lead. Don’t walk in with only Fire/Flying/Bug.

1. Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
2. Clear gym trainers if you need XP or PokéDollars.
3. Heal, then challenge Pedro.
