Prepare
Flying, Psychic, and Fairy answer Fighting. Lucario / Hitmon line hit different than Kanto Bruno.

- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Tower room three — full heal after Johto Koga.
Craft the map
- Search Bruno in REI and craft Muscle Band.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Muscle Band in the Johto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.

- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Elite Four / Champion: full heal between rooms.
- Heal, then challenge Bruno.
