Prepare
Fire, Fighting, and Ground crack Steel. Magnezone / Metagross hit hard — don’t send pure Water blindly.

- Approx cap while this fight is next: ~65 — Level cap
- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Taiga tip — longer hike; restock balls and Revives.
Craft the map
- Search Jasmine in REI and craft Secret Medicine.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Secret Medicine in the Johto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Magnezone / Metagross punish pure Water. Bring Ground or Fire that isn’t weak to Steel moves.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Clear gym trainers if you need XP or CobbleDollars.
- Heal, then challenge Jasmine.
- Win → level cap rises → next: Alfredo.
