Prepare
Fire, Flying, and Rock hit Bug hard. Watch for Heracross / Scyther speed.

- Leader party levels: about 27–30
- Approx cap while this fight is next: ~35 — Level cap
- Heals, status cures, spare balls, claimed base / waystone to retreat to
- Sparse Jungle tip — cut a path, keep a waystone, watch for higher wild levels.
Craft the map
- Search Raffaello in REI and craft Magnifying Glass.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Magnifying Glass in the Johto Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Heracross / Scyther can outspeed soft teams. Bring Rock or Fire that can take a hit.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Clear gym trainers if you need XP or CobbleDollars.
- Heal, then challenge Raffaello.
- Win → level cap rises → next: Chiara.
