Prepare
Flying, Psychic, and Fairy answer Fighting. This is a vertical map — bring blocks or a Flying mount for the ledges.

Craft the map
- Search Rudi in REI and craft Fighting Glove.
- Craft a fresh Empty Map.
- Combine Empty Map + Fighting Glove in the Hoenn Cartography Table (or trade a Map Guide villager).
- Hover the finished map for coordinates. Details: Gym maps.
Important
Do not open the Empty Map in the world first — that ruins it for gym crafting. Use the correct region cartography table.
Fight tips
Fighting hits Normal/Rock/Ice/Steel/Dark hard. Don’t walk in with a mono-Rock team from Petra’s fight.
- Travel with heals; activate waystones on the route.
- Clear gym trainers if you need XP or PokéDollars.
- Heal, then challenge Rudi.
- Win → level cap rises → next: Walter.
